CaseEdit

SituationEdit

Part 1Edit

A man is found dead by Ran, Sonoko, and Masumi. The word “死” is written in blood next to him. Strangely, the word was also found next to a man who died ten years ago, and Yusaku Kudo failed to solve the case, while promising that it would never happen again. Conan, who was also at the crime scene ten years ago, remembers this and is confused. They all go to Shinichi's house and discuss the case with Subaru Okiya. While there, Masumi discovers traces of a woman, and they suspect that Shinichi is seeing a woman. Ran is furious and almost calls him but stops when realizing that Subaru could be the one seeing a woman since he is the one living there. Subaru seemingly realizes that Conan is Shinichi after Conan rushes to the bathroom after Ran calles him and eavesdrops.

Part 2Edit

Takefumi Kooriyama's death was an accident. The death characters were coincidental flukes made by candies and a thumb edge in Kooriyama's case, and coins, the edge of a wallet, and a cigarette in Isao's case. Megure correctly ruled Isao's case to be a theft as some thieves stole Isao's wallet post-mortem. The thieves returned to the crime scene and attacked Sera, Ran, Sonoko, and Conan to cover their involvement in the theft. A little Jeet Kun Do, karate, and a well placed soccer ball dispatched the thieves easily. Sera's thoughts at the end of the episode seem to indicate she knows something about Shinichi's past.
